Mudder Training, Day 51

Just over a month until the Tough Mudder!

Today I worked out in my garage gym with four other guys.  We worked out at 9:30 a.m. and it was already over 90 degrees outside.  We worked on some technique for overhead squats, then we did a 300-workout inspired metcon that ran like this:

2 Rounds:

10 pullups

25 deadlifts (#135)

25 pushups (hand-release)

25 box jumps (22″)

25 floor wipers

25 steps walking lunge with bumper plate overhead

10 pullups

Run 1000 meters

Everything was manageable, but the runs were horrific. It took everything out of you.  But that kind of thing is good training for the Mudder.  I finished in about 34:00, and the other guys did great!
