Day Two was a rest day.
Day Three: Ran 4 miles, again in my Sauconys. It felt like much longer than that. I wish I had some trails or consistent stretches of grass to run on, running on concrete is not so fun. It felt o.k. Took a freezing cold shower to prepare for the water portions of the Mudder. It hurt more than the run.
Then I did some strength work with my brother-in-law who happened to be visiting for the day. Did the today’s mainsite WOD:
Front Squat: 5-5-5-5-5
I don’t have much weight so I did 95, 135, 145, 185, 205 (which is all the weight I have). Really easy. I need to get more weight to really do serious strength stuff.
Then we did some heavy snatches and clean and jerks. Almost got 205 overhead. I think I will next time.
