I was invited by a colleague (Dr. Carrie Groenewold) to bring a lecture on the theology of beauty for worship leaders. Since the lecture fell during the period of quarantine, I was obliged to record it for the class.
My first three points follow Aquinas, defining beauty in terms of integrity, harmony, and clarity. Or as I put it here: excellence, elegance, and electricity. But the final point for any Christian theology and beauty has to include one other element. Watch to find out what it is. =)
